Compulsory visit to the fifteenth-century castle where the Interpretation Center of the Community is located. Three round towers and the homage one higher and stronger, with rings instead of battlements, indicate that it was made for manor castle, while not free of wars in its first century.


Don Alfonso Enríquez, admiral of Castile in 1406, starts working on the current Castle, ending it his son don Fadrique, putting the family armorial bearings. With the Catholic monarchs and Carlos V are Governors of Kingdom, this is why Juan de Padilla and the villagers take this square after several days of siege and extensive damage in the town and the Castle until on April 23, 1521, date of the battle of Villalar. Outside the town is Chapel of the Cristo de Las Angustias, Gothic building 18th century. Built in stone in whose interior is the sculpture of the Cristo de las Angustias from the XVI century, the factory of the 18th century, stone ashlar and brick alongside the hornija, flour mill until very recently.
They are other works of stone as the old spout and new spout where you can drink of the spout supply.

Many know this landscape by the shooting between the Castle and the Medieval bridge in several scenes of the film "El Cid" in 1961.

There are many archaeological remains found on the slopes of Grimata, Las Quintanas, Santa Eulalia and La cuesta del Moro, from which after making a nice route, provides a beautiful landscape of the village. Torrelobatón is also a path of the cañada real.

In the village you can enjoy sports tracks, poplar groves with picnic areas and barbecue, summer swimming pool and children's parks.

FESTIVITIES:
In the early hours of New Year, los quintos make their graffiti. Carnivals are traditional, the popular ribbon race takes place in and no house lacks traditional sweets, ears, well dipped in honey. At Pentecost is honor to the Cristo de las Angustias, highlighting the singing of the creed in the Hermitage and the burning of the bonfire the Halloween night, continuing dance in the square. After celebrating the traditional dance on Monday, Tuesday los quintos are around young girls of the village and ask the typical doughnuts accompanied by a few dulzaineros. Snacks for San Juan and San Pedro in the Grove of the Christ. Dances and dances from Friday to the third Sunday of August, mostly open field  runs and steers in the bullring, do not miss the Bull of the Alba.

SURROUNDINGS:
San Cebrián de Mazote, Church of San Cipriano S.X, style mozarab declared a national monument. Ex-convent of the Dominican 14th century in the Gothic style.

Castromonte where you can buy typical cheese made in the area and La Santa Espina, (hamlet of Castromonte) visit to the monastery and the center of interpretation of the rural life of Castilla y León. You can also make hiking trails, ride quads, or taste typical dishes of the area and buy its typical honey.

Urueña, from the wall have spectacular landscapes, the ethnographic Center Joaquin Diaz and the chapel of our Lady of the Anunciada.

Wamba, Church of Santa Maria, of mozarab style where we can see the charnel house of the order of St. John.

ACTIVE TOURISM:
The Santa Espina hiking, Matilla de los Caños has an aerodrome. Tordesillas track cars, La Flecha and Toro have paintball.
